Level 2 - Telecommunications Principles & Technologies

• Students who have completed the Level 1 course:
Introduction to telecommunications.
• Personnel within the telecommunications industry who require an overview of industry services and the fundamental technology behind those services.
• Technical personnel who have little or no experience or familiarity with telecommunications.
• Technical personnel within a telecommunication environment requiring a general overview.

Description:
This course provides an overview of telecommunications industry services & the fundamental technology behind these services.

This course is a natural sequence to the 'Introduction to telecommunications' course, it also prepares students for more advanced studies.

Emphasis is placed on the services & technology & how they work. It covers the three fundamental concepts of telecommunications, transmission, signaling & switching. The course is a comprehensive overview of telecommunications technology today.

Duration: 3 days
